Maja Vrbnjak (1994) began her musical education with prof. Anja Pirjevec at music school in Maribor in 2003. She continued her training at the Maribor Conservatory of Music and Ballet in the class of prof. Vojko Vešligaj and then at the Ljubljana Academy of Music, graduating in the class of prof. Tomaž Rajterič in 2015 and then completing a master’s degree with him. She spent one semester of her postgraduate studies as an Erasmus+ exchange student in Vienna with prof. Alexander Swete. She began taking part in national and international competitions when still at lower music school. In 2012 she won first place and first prize at the Krško Guitar Days. In concert season 2017/2018 she had a concert on internatonal Music Cycle of Ljubljana Festival, Young virtuosi. In 2018 she won first prize and golden award at the national competition Temsig. The same year she won in her category at international competition Svirél. She regularly participates in guitar festivals in Slovenia and abroad (Sarajevo Guitar Festival, Koblenz International Guitar Festival, Forum Gitarre Wien, Guitar Week in Postojna, Mikulov Guitar Festival) and attends master classes with renowned teachers such as Marcin Dylla, Carlo Marchione, Alexander Swete, Adriano del Sal etc. She is a regular member of the Muliers Guitar Quartet, with which she won first place and first prize at the international Krško Guitar Days competition in 2016. She is also a member of the duo Claro with clarinetist Urška Kočar.

Emma Schützmann had her first guitar lessons at the age of seven in her hometown Mülheim upon Ruhr in Germany. After taking her A-levels, she started studying at the age of 16 at the Cologne Conservatory of Music/Wuppertal in the class of  Prof. Alfred Eickholt. Since then, she won prizes at various national and international competitions, including the renowned German competition "Jugend musiziert" and the Andres Segovia youth competition in Monheim. In 2018 she won first prize together with her Duo partner Lotte Nuria Adler (mandolin) at the "Wuppertaler Musikwettbewerb der Barmenia Versicherungen", a biennial chamber music competition for students of North Rhine Westphalia. Emma is scholarship holder of the 'Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now' association and the 'Deutschlandstipendium'. Soloisticly and in duo, she played amongst others at the Stuttgart International Guitar Festival, the International Guitar Festival in Remscheid and the "Eurofestival-Zupfmusik" in Bruchsal.
